Dosgamos is an Italian band born in 2018 from an idea of the singer Michele Altavilla.
The band had the intention of conveying feelings, influences and experiences by every single member, trying to create a personal sound.
For the rhythm section Michele called his longtime friend “Gorath” – former drummer from the Italian black metal band “Stormcrow” – ,
Giulio Garibaldi (Bassist), another longtime friend and music fellow and Vinnie – current member of the Italian Trash Metal band “Injury”- as guitar player.

Overcome the Covid-19 emergency, the band started to write songs together, seeing each member sharing his own musical background, influence and knowledge.
After a lot of work, jams, arguments and time shared together in the studio, the album “Wrapped Renaissance“ was ready.

In late 2021 the band finally recorded all the nine songs.
In 2022, the album finally saw the light and Dosgamos begun to promote it live in local venues.

During this time the line-up slightly changed:
Elia Dutto took his place behind the drums and the band finally flew for its first East European Tour,playing their music in Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary and Albania.
After about two months, Dosgamos were invited to play in England and Wales.

2024 started with a double gig in Albania, followed by a happy collaboration with Extreme Management Group.
Willing to sound naturally huge on stage, a second guitarist, Alessandro Parola,  was engaged and the new lineup had the opportunity to perform at a festival in Prague with amazing results.

Spring and summer 2024 were dedicated to songwriting and recording.

The new album “On Day Seven He Regretted”, mixed and mastered by Ronnie Björnström (Meshuggah, Aeon etc..)
will see the light in 2025 under the collaboration with Wormhole Death label.
